Why Lighting and Equipment gains outputs are missing from the results.

In ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G models there is currently a limitation with the display of some outputs such as Lighting and equipment. These gains are always simulated and taken into account on the simulation. The issue is only with output display.

The steps to get around the limitation are:
  • To generate the Lighting and equipment outputs you will need to disable the Allow custom outputs option at Simulation Calculation options dialog .


  • To obtain the Glazing outputs (Heat balance graph) you will need to run another calculation with both options, Allow Custom Outputs and Surface heat transfer, switched on. 
This issue has been confirmed in DesignBuilder version 6 software but will be addressed in future versions.
