DesignBuilder crash while using drawing tools in MACs running BootCamp

Modified on Thu, 17 Aug, 2023 at 9:51 AM

This crash is caused by an issue with OpenGL and the installed graphic card driver when using Windows in Bootcamp (MACs).

The issue can be fixed by updating your graphics card (GPU) driver.
You may need to go directly to the GPU manufacturer's website to find the most up-to-date driver for your hardware.

For example, if you are running a recent Radeon graphics card, you can find the latest drivers at Apple Boot Camp Software Graphics Drivers page: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/apple-boot-camp

Alternatively, if your machine is already running the most up-to-date GPU drivers then this may be a bug in the current driver release and a driver downgrade may be needed until a new driver is provided.
