When attempting to view .AVI files by double-clicking on them in Windows Explorer you may see an error like the one below.
This error means that there are missing codecs for the default video player application (which is typically Films and TV on Windows 10 systems).
Running the Windows Media Player may be enough to update the required drivers, but otherwise, if the issues persist then you may need to update your graphic card drivers from the Device Manager area.
Alternatively, you can use another video player that supports the .AVI extension such as Windows Media Player.
