CIBSE weather files does not include the statistics file and therefore a message will be displayed when add a new weather file to your model.
- Statistical Report File (.stat) - a general overview of the weather data in the file. This data is used by DesignBuilder to populate the Statistics tab of the Hourly weather data dialog to help identify design and typical weeks from the Simulation Calculation options dialog.

Note that you can run simulation without the .stat file and it will not affect your results.
However, you can generate .stat files using the weather converter.
1. From DesignBuilder navigate to menu "Tools" > "Hourly Weather Data" .
2. Select the .epw file with missing .stat file,
3. Go to the "Options" tab and select "12-Statistical report files".
4. Click Convert
5. The tool will generate the .stat file inside the Weather folder.
