Follow the steps below to upgrade the server licensing software to the latest version (RLM v15).

1. Stop the existing "DesignBuilder license server" service (RLMv11) at the Windows Services area.

2. Open Task Manager and at Details select the rlm.exe process and finally click at "End task" option.

3. Open a Command Window (CMD window) with elevated privileges and use the cd command to navigate to the RLM v11 folder.

4. Run from CMD with elevated permissions the "service_remove.cmd" script.

5. Download the designb_rlm_vxx.zip file from the Download > Server Software area of the DesignBuilder website - latest version is Site License Server for Windows (RLM v15).

6. Extract the designb_rlm_vxx.zip files to the RLM folder on the server to be used to host DesignBuilder site license (e.g. c:\RLMSERVER).

7. From the CMD window navigate to the RLM v15 folder and install the service 'DesignBuilder License Server' by running the 'service_install.cmd' script.

8. Copy to the RLM v15 folder all existing all existing lic files found at the RLM v11 folder.

9. Go to Windows Services area and start the 'DesignBuilder License Server' service.

10. Open the RLM admin interface by clicking on the 'admin_interface.cmd' script located in the RLM folder.
Some users have experienced issues with IE browser. It may be needed to open the admin portal on another browser application, eg Chrome.

11. At the RLM admin portal enter the login details:
user=admin
passw=admin

12At the left panel navigate to the 'Change password' and set up a new password,
otherwise the server service will be closed after 10 minutes.
