
This error is often related to old models updated to new versions. During the updating process, some DHW or HVAC templates may be lost due to duplicated names on the original model.
The steps to solve it are:
1 - Check all zones for empty HVAC or DHW System templates.
The example below shows a missing DHW System template:
2 - Assign the template
3 - Save the model
4 - Close DesignBuilder - This step is important to get rid of the 'model.inp already opened' error
5 - Open the model again
6 - Run the calculation
