Aurea Consulting - DesignBuilder España used DesignBuilder as part of a study for the municipality of San Sebastián (Basque Country, Spain) which aimed to extract optimum solutions for building refurbishment. In this project designers use DesignBuilder to ascertain optimal insulation levels and glazing types for different orientations and determine the economic savings achieved. They determined return on investments within 1 to 5 years for the different scenarios.
