Convert model from SBEM v6.1 to v5.6

DesignBuilder does not support forward compatibility and this means that it's not possible to load models saved in newer versions into older releases. See: DesignBuilder dsb file version compatibility The workaround to move the geometry to an older version is: 1. Open DB v7.1 and load the v7.1 model, 2. Export the geometry using the Export gbXML model option (File >Export) See image below:  3. Uninstall DBv7 and install DBv6.1, and create a new project, Here is the link to the installer DesignBuilder v6.1.8.021 4. Import the geometry using the Import 3-D model toolbar option and select the previously saved gbXML file. See image below:  5. Set the Geometry template to reinstate the zero wall thicknesses.  6. Enter the SBEM input data again (Construction, HVAC, Lighting, etc.) | |
