SBEM 6.1.e Patch01

This patch is required for DesignBuilder v7.1.4.005 for English BRUKL calculations in which the building has a District Heating System.

  • It is required for both SBEM and DSM
  • It is not required for EPC calculations whether or not the building has an EPC System.
  • It does not affect the calculation, only the checks on the BRUKL

The BRUKL for a building without the patch might contain this:



The BRUKL with the patch would then look like this:



This effects a change in the requirements in which the Primary Energy Factor for the District Heating Network is not checked (though it will still be used in determining the BPER and thus have an impact on overall compliance)

Instructions
  1. Download patch EXE6.1.e.0_64.zip from
DesignBuilder Software Ltd - For Energy Assessors

      2. Close down DesignBuilder

      3. Find this folder and replace the file EXE6.1.e.0_64.zip

C:\Program Files (x86)\DesignBuilder\SBEM

     4. Find the SBEM 61e folder on your system:



     5. Delete the contents of this folder

     6. When you relaunch DesignBuilder v7.1.4 the patch will be automatically installed and the SBEM 61e folder will be repopulated.
