If you have been provided with a single user DesignBuilder license file (extension .lic or .lif) you can use it to activate the software as follows:
In DesignBuilder V4, V5, V6 and V7:
1. Run DesignBuilder and open the Licence Manager by selecting the "Licence" option from the Help > Licence menu.
2. In License Manager click on the "License" button to open the Licence Manager Wizard
3. Select the "License File" option and press Next.
4. Click on the browse button, select the License file with the extension .lic
If the .lic file was sent in an email then you'll need to save it to the hard disk first.
5. Then press Next and finally the Finish button to complete the action.
In DesignBuilder V2 and V3:
1. Start a DesignBuilder session
2. Open the Licence dialog from the Help menu
3. Click on the 'Activate from file' button
4. Select the license file you were sent (if the file was sent in an email then you'll need to save it to the hard disk first)
For more detailed information press the "Help" button available at the Licence Manager wizard.
