The message "Current Activation Exists" means that your machine still has an old/damaged license for this module
To fix this follow the steps below:
1. Open the DesignBuilder License Manager > Activation Codes tab, select the code and press the Deactivate button.

2. Press the RESET button available at DesignBuilder License Manager,

3. Activate the code by pressing the License button and following the steps in the wizard.
If the issue persists then follow these steps to manually remove the license files from the machine:
1. If the license is still active, open the DesignBuilder License Manager > Activation Codes tab, select the code, and press the Deactivate button.
If you are running DesignBuilder v2025 or newer, go to step 4.
2. Go to the Windows Services area by typing Services at Windows search bar,
3. Select the DBSimLServer service and press Stop.
4. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\DesignBuilder\Licences and delete all files inside this folder
5. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Reprise\designb and delete all files inside this folder.
Note that C\:ProgramData is a hidden folder requiring the Windows visibility option to be enabled. If you haven't done so already, set your Folder Options so you can see hidden files, folders, and drives:
In Windows 10: a) Open File Explorer from the taskbar. b) Select View > Options > Change folder and search options. c) Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.
In Windows 11: a) Open File Explorer from the taskbar. b) Select View > Show > Hidden items.
6. If you are running version 7, then after successfully deleting the files above, go to Services area, select the DBSimLServer service and press Start.
7. Go to DesignBuilder License Manager activate the activation code by pressing the License button.
