DesignBuilder fails to open at startup - Printer conflict

This is may be caused by the default printer that has become offline and DesignBuilder session is waiting for this printer to be online to start up the session.


To address this you will need to change your default printer to Microsoft Print to PDF at Printer and Scanners area.


1. Press the Windows key + I to open Settings.


2. Select Bluetooth & devices in the left sidebar.


3. Click Printers & scanners on the right.


4. Turn off the 'Let Windows manage my default printer'



5. Select the Microsoft Print to PDF option


6. Set it as default



7. Start a new DB session.
