You may have to keep clicking on the Cancel button until the dialogs stop appearing. The dialog boxes may also reappear during use of DesignBuilder at various other times.
Note that the application mentioned in the dialog in entirely unrelated to DesignBuilder and is not caused by a DesignBuilder dependency on another application.
This error only seems to occur on new installations of Windows. DesignBuilder developers have not been able to identify the cause of the problem, but we do know that it sometimes occurs with other applications (apart from DesignBuilder). We have found the problem usually goes away either by pressing OK on the dialogs, or running with administrator privileges, or by installing the most recent version of the 3rd party software.
Microsoft recommends using the built-in "Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter" or other modern tools for fixing such installation issues.
