Calculated Natural Ventilation Infiltration

Modified on Tue, 27 Jan at 12:26 PM

When working with Calculated Natural Ventilation, the infiltration results change according to building geometry, windows, wind speed, and orientation. Hence, the results are highly dependent on the weather files as well.

Therefore, it is not possible to convert the templates to figures.

Our Help section discusses this, with the following example:

A zone with 20m² with one window and the crack template set as 'Good' (0.00004 kg/sm2@1Pa), the infiltration for main surfaces will be 0.0072 kg/s @1Pa.

The infiltration results can be checked using the AFN Zone Infiltration Air Change Rate output using the Results Viewer, which will report the ACH for each zone.
